The Promise of God

The book of Genesis reveals the foundation of all things, the foundation of life, identity, gender, marriage, family, destiny, etc. To have a healthy understanding of who we are, we need to study the historical narrative of Genesis. In this narrative, we especially see the Promise of God unfold. How can we have an assuring identity, purpose, morality, and security when facing the reality of life? How can we not lose ourselves, our sense of hope and direction, in this ever changing world? We ground ourselves in the Unchanging Promise of God from Abraham to Jesus Christ!
